reverse motor on jones tire cutter

Does anyone know how to reverse the direction of the motor on a jones cutter?

DC motor? switch the +/-. AC motor, might need to get into the case to switch some leads. try googling for a pdf or user manual, using the name and PN from the motor.

Is the motor 3 phase?Does the motor turn the cutting wheel by a belt design?

I haven't even looked. I was hopeing it was common for people with the machine to flip a switch inside the box some place lol. I'll take it apart and check it out.

sometimes I prefer to finish the tires by hand, or cut down the edges with a rasp. My old cutter had a switch to reverse the motor. ive been using my tire grinder which spins the opposite direction.

If it is reversible, could be on the motor spec plate. Most motors just switch 2 wires (120vac?) to change rotation. If you can change it, I have used a drum switch for
fwd-off-rev run.
