so putting in new piston, long rod and rings. new motor from the box.
sheet in the piston ring set suggests bore x.004 so i got .011 but my gap on my ring is .018 top ring and .023 bottom ring.
OK to go like this???? or do i have the wrong ring set by chance? or is my math wrong?
OH markings on the ring box are 2756XC (sticker)
Help please.

On the Wisecos you have no other alternative,, they do not to my knowledge have rings like .005 over the size posted on the box etc.. You should be fine and run it...

thanks, what about the expansion ring between the oil rails.. never had this much issue trying to get the three to go together.. its like the expansion ring is to thick. trying to stretch it ... carefully and tuck it between the rails.. can't seem to even get it in with just one flat ring installed.. any thoughts

Never mind, got the oil rings in.. normally i install the bottom one then the expansion ring then the top flat ring.. had to go expansion first.. guess i should do this in the morning instead of at 1040 after a long day at work.. short on patients.
