RIP Lou. The Velvet Underground's music is some of my fondest memories from the 60s. And he just kept on going from there.....

sad for anyone to pass. I just watched a tribute to him on the nightly news and said to my wife "I've never heard of him.". She said she never did either. But then they played "Walk on the Wild Side" and I knew the tune. ... I'm sure when I pass nobody will know any of my tunes.

Did you know Lou Reed was even more known in Europe than in the US? I once met in Madrdrid a musician who used to record and play with him. He was also great but decided to move for a time to that area of Spain and play small venues. R.I.P.
