ROAD RAT CHASSIS INFORMATION

Picked up a road rat chassis wondering if anyone has any information about them? year? model? are they any good? says made in Gainesville,FL serial no *RRM120010
I dont see a year anywhere on it. Ive googled it and some came up but no real information on them. The motor mount is a flat plate with slotted holes something similar to what is on a yard kart, is this how they were built?

Hate to tell you but road rat karts are junk. At one time, we had a road rat series at the NFKC 103rd St track in Jacksonville. The frame rails would bend all the time. The brake systems were trash. The seat posts and various other welded on brackets would break just above or below the welds. Never could get them to scale properly. Best thing to do is get rid of it!

Road rat was produ in China from DOM tubing, and cheap parts, guy wasted his money.
