Rod bearing

Putting my clone back together. Can I reuse rod bearing and rod bolts or is that a bad idea.

If bearing is like new still yes. if wore no. check rod to crank clearance, should be .0025-.004 max.
Rod bolts can be reused the majority of the time. but new bolts won't hurt.

You will need to measure the bearing to ensure it still has proper clearance. Looks can be deceiving. The bolts can be reused as long as they were torqued properly the first time, but new bearings and bolts are cheap insurance.

When you guys say bearing what bearing the rod is machined on stock rod are you talking an arc rod?

I assume they are talking about a billet rod.
