Rod bolt question

No I never intended on turning the rod past it's design limits. The rod went from never ran ,new take out rod with the hexhead bolts and later model machined tracing numbers, safe at 6100RPM speeds pictured in add, to an older model rod , having old style problematic bolts and a crap shoot as to whether or not it was one of the, "porous" weak rods that were prone to breakage and were made around the time of those weak button head bolts, so with the cost of bolts, bearings and shipping eating any potential savings on a used billet rod, I will just buy a new ARC billet rod. thanks for your input
Good decision (in my opinion.)
While you're at it, when ordering, you might as well ask for the "beefy" rod and not chance the lightweight ARC rods. For the slight difference in weight, the extra material in the right places make the beefy rod a MUCH better option.
