Roll around cart padding

Need to replace the padding on my roll around. What works the best? I was thinking about garden hose.

Working in a garage, I have old radiator hoses, that I cut to fit my stand. Works well.

I was thinking the Soft and Supple (sp?) water hose.

automotive water heater hose -- available at any auto parts store. Cut to length, slit lengthwise, and wrap the tubing with it. You'll never wear it out, and washing the kart no the stand won't hurt it either.
