There's some preps you can roll inside a 33a and it's fine. But most preps aren't really designed to be rolled inside a 33. It don't take much and it's a conditioner, or stabilizer for the tire.

Agreed. It also depends on what you are trying to accomplish with the tire. Soften, condition, etc. If you need more sidebite with the 33, there's nothing wrong with using internal preps. Likewise, some internal will keep the tire firing better on long runs (depends on what you roll internally - as mentioned above.) About half of our personal 33 inventory is rolled internally, the other half is dry inside and prepped only from the outside. Track conditions, class that you are running, etc also factor in.
