Rubber Mat in work area.

How many times have you been thrashing and dropped a bolt or nut in the dirt? Now it's gone even with the pit lights. Now you're hunting a replacement in the parts drawer.

I'm thinking of finding a rubber mat to lay down. I see people with them occasionally.

I'm curious what's a good option to use for this? Something to be rolled up and of course cleaned easily.

Tarp or large outdoor rug that has holes on the edges for stakes

We have a large tarp built by a company that does flatbed tarps and awnings 20x30 was only 90.00

Old throw away pice of green carpet , tent stakes on 4 corners , ezy up over it

One guy I know uses old bill board signs and he cuts them to size. Pretty cool.

Just an update. I found about 50 ft of rubber mat. 50x4' for $60. I put about 20 ft in my trailer. This will give me 10x8 work area for our 2 karts. Then I did a 16x8 work area in my garage. The 1" foam is softer on my old ass feet, lol!

My only concern is cleaning it after the race. We'll see how it works out.
