Rumble in Fort Wayne - Entry News and Information

Rumble in Fort Wayne presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales - December 18 & 19, 2020
Entry News and Information

DISCLAIMER: The following may not be popular with everyone and should be read with an OPEN mind. It is a plan that has been made necessary in regards to guidelines for the event established by the Allen County Dept. of Health, and has been painstakingly put together as a business approach. Nothing personal is intended or to be implied. We are working with the cards that have been dealt us. Any changes will be properly announced.

Allen County Department of Health Guidelines for #Rumble23.
  • Building capacity limited to 2,000 people.
  • Use of face coverings
  • Social distancing mandated in grandstands and in pits, including pit stalls
Due to these mandated guidelines, we have no choice but to implement the following plan…

ENTRIES
  • Every division/class will have a limit on the number of entries accepted.
  • This limit will be reached in the following manner –
    • Invitations will be distributed with consideration of support through the years as the primary criteria, and they are NOT transferable.
    • If invited, the Application for Entry must be submitted with full payment no later than 11/21/20.
    • The number of invites distributed may or may not equal pre-determined division/class limits.
  • A “want to participate” list will be prepared for each division/class.
    • Teams interested in being on this list should send their name and division/class choice via email to rumbleinfortwayne@gmail.com by 11/22/20.
    • On 11/23/20, a random drawing will be conducted on Facebook Live (Rumble in Fort Wayne page) to fill any available positions.

PIT PASSES
  • The entire building will be considered the pit area. Pit locations will be modified to adhere to pit stall social distancing.
  • With each submitted Application for Entry, the team may pre-purchase up to 5 pit passes. All remaining pit passes will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis in a soon to be detailed manner. This pit pass does not guarantee a seat in the grandstands.
    • A small block of guaranteed pit pass seats will be available to the public in a soon to be detailed manner.
    • With the building capacity limited to 2,000 people, it is likely that the available pit passes will be sold prior to the event date.

As in previous years, the 23rd Rumble in Fort Wayne presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales is scheduled to feature Midget, Winged and Non-Winged 600cc Midget, Go Kart and Quarter Midget competition on the purposely built 1/6 mile concrete oval inside of the massive Allen County War Memorial Coliseum and Expo Center (ACWMC) in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Due to extreme limitations on socially distanced pit space, Midgets, Winged and Non-Winged 600cc Midgets will compete on both days. Go Kart and Quarter Midgets will be split between the two days, with each class being designed a single day on which it will compete. Again, we ask an open mind, as this was the only way to comply with the Covid-19 regulations, and still allow ALL the traditional classes to take part in the show.
