RUSH Memorial Cup series will be allowing the use of an electric starters at the 911 Memorial race at Cove Valley Speedway on 9/12/15. This is in response to the current local track rule at this facility. This is the only event in 2015 that the electric starters will be legal. However, after this event we will reopen discussion of using electric starters in 2016. This change is directly related to our philosophy that it is important to keep the "locals vs travelers" rivalry strong. Hopefully this change will encourage cove valley locals to race with us at the 911 Memorial event and help with the continued growth of the series.
On a little side note, I see today that much of western pa has been placed on drought watch. Lets hope that is a good sign for some dry weather this next month so we can get some racing in.
