Sa2015 or M2015 helmets

Why do tracks want the Sa2015 Snell rated instead of using both Sa and the M rated or even the K rated helmet? The only difference I see is the fire rating and the allowance for the bumping of roll bars and field of vision. On the Snell website a M2015 can be tested to meet the K rating with a small change by narrowing the field of vison and staying within reason of the Sa rating.

Current M and K Snell rated helmets are legal in all forms of karting except for Champ Karts, where a fireproof SA rating is required.

Sadly, there are many tracks that allow nylon interior helmets in Champ Karts, even though it is recognized to be unsafe by all the major organizations.
