can you ever be too low in the seat (back angle wise)to the point where the kart skids on the turn vs. gripping ? i have seen where the driver looks like he is tilted way back almost laying down. i understand CoG being low, but can it be to point where it works aginst performance. Or is skdding ( (loose back end ) no mater where you have set up seating position, an issue with correcting the rear end with adjustments ? thanks - new guy here

Theoretically, no, you can never be too low. However, you can get so low that standard setups and the standard tuning knowledgebase won't apply. It is for this reason that we don't typically try to get the CG to its absolute minimum. How low to mount things tends to follow from the class, racing conditions, driver size and weight and seat design.
