Securing Kart in trailer

Is it ok to leave the kart on its rolling stand and strap the stand in place? Or is it best to store it on the floor of the trailer?

Storing it on the rolling stand works fine as long as you secure the kart to the stand once the stand is strapped in place in the trailer. Wish we had enough headroom to do our champ kart that way, lol.
 
Better have a good stand. Last year I had a stand collapse on our last road trip. I fixed it and use it in the garage now only. Built a stand that is bomb proof. Lol.
 
Same here, when we started I bought a stand from a guy on here, collapsed it first trip. Since then I've built my own - heavy wall tubing and chains.
 
For yrs. I hauled our 3-4 karts on the floor with 1 hunk of 2" x 4" under the frame at the back of the seat, plus 2 more just sitting on a plywood and 2 x 4 plank that the wheels hung over the side, ends of the plank rested on a rail that was welded to box uprights and hung out about 3 ".
