Set up help

New to cart racing(only been racing for half a year) and I put a new body on my kart. I have around 3/16 clearance on my LF tire and body and I’m worried that the bolt on the body is going to eat my LF. If I take washers out the bottom of my LF tire will that solve the problem? I know I will have to re set toe/camber and re scale if I do this because it will affect cross.

Here's what I would do take the side panel loose and push it forward 1/2 inch; more if needed. then drill two new holes.
you don't need a whole lot of clearance there 3/16ths is tight.

Turn the bolt upside down so the nut is on top of the body, that way if something happens while racing only the smooth side will rub against the tire, so you can keep racing.

Good idea.
We also riveted them with the rivet up .

We used to zip tie nose to side panels that way if you had contact the zip tie would break and not the body panels.
