Setup question - Moving LR tire

The way I look at it is what is the tires relationship to the CG? So moving the RS tires out moves them away from the CG and they statically lose weight and weight is delayed in dynamically transferring to them. On the LS moving them out also statically moves weight off them and dynamically delays weight leaving them. At the LR it keeps it loaded longer. You would think that this would cause more weight to transfer from the LF to the RF and less from the LR to the RR causing you to be even more loose. If we assume the same speed and cornering G-force produced by that speed, grip of the track and the tires, the total amount of weight transfer does not change. However, the dynamic loads at each tire does change and that effects the grip that the tire produces. The reality is that you changed the grip balance of the kart to suite the track conditions.

To really understand what you did would be to put the kart on the scales as raced and add steering input and see how it effects the load on the tires.

BTW, lots of great posts here.
