Generally speaking.
How expensive is shipping a chassis with no motor and no wheels and tires? Whats the best way to protect it and how much it cost?

Its longer then a pallet , you would need an extended length or custom .
The pallet doesn't need to be the same length. I've seen lots of stuff shipped on pallets that overhung on both ends. The pallet is mostly so the Kart can be easily handled with a forklift. No doubt a custom palette would be best, but not totally necessary.

I've loaded and unloaded freight with a fork truck .
Be sure too put a fragile and handle with care sticker on it .
Whoops and it'll be alright , are commonly used terms in the process .

I shipped one through fastenal for 160.00 a couple years ago... had to be on a pallet couldn’t over hang the pallet and had to be wrapped in plastic wrap..

I've had several karts shipped to me on a long pallet. Strapped down and wrapped in that industrial saran wrap. The last one I got in about 3 weeks ago cost me about $225 for shipping.
