Should I oil the foam filter

Your suposed to oil the foam filter, but if you don't ask "stupid questions", you might mess something totally up bad.

It's a good idea to oil a foam filter BUT ask your local tech man. I've had my filter pulled and been given a sniff test. just be sure you won't get DQ'ed for doing it. getting approval is the way to go

Exactly im glad I asked luckily my track doesn't have a sniff test rule

Also they allow you to oil the airfilter

If you have a tech person using their nose as a tech tool, you need a new tech person.

There are some guys that saturate the foamie with starter fluid to get a good start. How ya detect that?
