I went to the show this past Saturday and I was a little disappointed that not more vendors or kart manufacturers weren't there.
I know that this is a small venue, butvit would seem to me that these chassis guys would be there to promote and answer questions about there product.
I meet 3 people there that were really trying to promote and grow this sport. They were Brian Carlson and the Briggs rep, Jody from arc.
This sport is in need of more people like them.
I do want to commend the sponsors that put on the show and the shops, tracks and others for a job well
I guess the days of the old wka show in Charlotte our gone. I just hope that things can only get better.
The days of a good karting show in the southeast is tough these days.. The minute a show is created here comes 1-2 big money races to starve it out... The move to Tenessee should be the BEST venue for the southeast,, something there for the entire family.. Spots for the show are on average 1/3rd the cost of the ole kart fest days....
Why other karting businesses stay away for one reason or another is a mystery... Not sure to be disappointed or THANK them for not showing up... Our checking account put us on their VIP List this week...
