So i see skip teeth gears and #35 "regular" . Question is better to run skip tooth or regular ?? For dirt tracks..

We run both on our karts. I personally think the skip tooth is better due to less friction when the axle is spinning.

Zero difference in lap time, they wear out quicker

That has not been our experience at all.
Lap times, I'll agree with - it would be hard to prove any difference there, but as far as wearing out quicker, that's just not been the case.
Our skip tooth sprockets actually wear considerably less than full teeth gears.

Bought a full set of Tomar when they came out, they wore pretty quick, have rocket full gears but didn't bother with the skip tooth.
And yeah zero difference in lap times.

Can't speak for the Tomar gears, but we love our Rocket Sprockets. (Skip tooth and Steve made us a couple sets with the centers lightened further on them.)
