SMC Vortex Clutch adjustment

I run sr champ 425 with a stock 212 cc hemi predator. The governor is installed and I have black springs. It says 8.1 at 2500 rpm what would be a good place to start?

it’s gonna be darn near impossible with those springs... you’ll need silver springs and only install 4 of them leave 2 arms dead. Set all the springs in the lowest hole. Should get you around 2600 ish.
 
Just the same as you would any other disc clutch. Tear down and inspect for damage, wear and tear and hot spots, clean bearing and steels. Clean discs with a copper platers brush and blow everything out good. Little bit of oil on bearing and reassemble.
