snow

Look at it this way: the snow in the NC area has stimulated the economy much more than any artificial stimulus money ever could, and doesn't cost me tax dollars. In Raleigh, the towing companies are making BANK today pulling in all the abandoned vehicles, the impound yards will get theirs as well, and then the body shops start getting theirs on Monday. It's all just keeping things going.

However, also in NC, the DOT is working overtime with plowing and salting (slag and brime), and so are emergency workers because of these non-driving idiots. Meanwhile a lot of industries are practically shut down (no productivity and in some cases no wages).

Please, you folks in the North and West, just know that some of us CAN handle this weather and these conditions. We've only got about 4" in my area and it's comical how many people can't deal with it. Meanwhile I enjoy driving in it!

We got 6" in North Raleigh and more snow coming 1"-3" on the way. About to go do some sledding. It is pretty comical watching some of these people drive in the snow. One of the streets over here has about 30 cars parked on it. I have a little ford focus and drove past a four wheel drive Chevy just spinning his tires on the hill. I was laughing pretty hard about it.

Still at work in Raleigh since yesterday morning. Hope to go home this afternoon.

All of yez young dirt racers need to know that ice and snow do not have side bite, like dirt tracks do , many yrs. back, my dirt track champion son stuffer his Toyota P.U. truck into an Armco barrier in a turn off a big highway., hard way to learn.

Just sit tight drink water, diet a little and in a few days it will either be gone or no longer an issue.

Just gets tiring doing it every week.

Way back early '80's, my brother-in-law thought he was the worlds best snow plower, he bought a brandy new Power Wagon complete with Meyers power angle plow , and we hardly got enough snow in the next 5 yrs. to even hook it up. Murphy's Law again...

Snowing here in Indy right now, weird cause my weather app says just a 30% chance...hate to see what'd we get with all 100% lol

But yea Im tired of snow more than ever righr now, been a horrible winter here
