The field was a little light last evening as some of the regulars parked it for the Holiday weekend.
They missed a track so smooth you could have held a cup of coffee without losing a drop while racing. The grip was phenomenal contributing to another week of fast times in all divisions
Pole sitter T.D. Harris led the field to the green with Roy Morris on the outside who then dropped in behind Harris and applied the pressure.
Larry Ealey brings it home third followed by 4 Matt Ackerman 5 Ron Farber 6 James Counterman 7 Ron Counterman 8 Matt Gyurkovics 9 Jim Counterman
Pit note : The Smell of burning rubber permeated the air as the Microstocks circled the speedway causing all drivers to wonder if they were experiencing an issue.
The source revealed itself as strong runner Matt Gyurkovics headed to the infield with a flat right rear. It appears the grip was too much for his hub and wheel shifted causing a rub until the tire let go.
Next week the MRL and World Formula Tour regulars will combine to put on show of their own in addition to our regular weekly Microstock 206 division
