Spindle vs no cross spindle

I have a 14Triton. Bought used, was looking to buy some spindles among other things to be prepared on race day. So I went to phantoms store and seen two different spindles.
1st question is what is the difference
2nd question is how can you tell the difference?

Thanks in advance

there should be a stamp on the back side .
right frt you would want a std spindle. not the no cross .
left I would think same way.

No cross primarily for asphalt, concrete and champ karts ? Maybe not sure lol, we use standard spindles on the PRC flat karts for all surfaces.
Can’t say for sure on our Triton spindles because I only have the standard ones, but the difference on the standard and high cross PMI/Slack spindles is where the shaft is welded onto the barrel. I would guess this would be the same though.

Typically you would use the 5* spindle , it dosent appear they offer one for the triton.
The low cross would be the option if you can't get your percentage. Right.

Never used 5* stuff on asphalt or indoor with the Phenoms.

DMC, if you use the Triton on asphalt, you’ll need to change caster and most of the setup. I was actually surprised how fast it was the couple times we ran it.
