Sprint racing chassis

A big sweeper seems would be easiest.
I would think an older Lto chassis that in not designed for crazy high cross .

I tried at CMP, but wasn't very competitive, and worse than lap times it was really difficult to drive. Very fast on open left turns, terrible on any right turn even after making multiple setup changes.

Talladega grand prix track i was just curious if it could it be done.you wouldn't think one right turn would slow ya down that much honestly

^^ depends on how quickly you can right a flipped kart. :) We used to do one roadcourse race per year with our NYS microds... I found out what it looks like to have racetrack whizzing by your helmet while on your side / rollcage....fun times. Dad wasn't happy.

The one right hander at that track is a sweeper - I don’t remember if it’s banked. You would definitely need to move your seat and move the LR out. It could be done - would take a lot of changes to make it last an entire 30min race. Would be fun 😎

Guess it's not a good idea !
It can be run but you'll need to be very careful on any right hand turn. It will tend to go on 2 wheels easy. It is OK for fun. I still have one I let people borrow when they come to help me at asphalt sprint practice days, especially new drivers with no karting experience that still drive at low speeds.

I have an old AV2 frame that I can get the L vs R weight to within 2% of each other. I worked ok on a sprint course. I dont know how competitive it would be though.
