Pulling the valve core out if it as soon as you scale sure helpsHave a LR that's 32 1/4 on an 8.5 wheel. It takes a good bit of time to get them that small. The hard part is keeping them there!

What straights? The 1/10 mi. tracks I've been to are either 1/4 midget tracks, or backyard tracks. There are not straightaways - one tiny little bullring circle. Flat on the bottom in the corners and out to the top/flagstand on the straights. 1 3/4" - 2" is pretty normal on a 1/10th, even with newer karts. We run a few 1/8 and 1/10 mile tracks and never have a need to go over 1-1/4-1-1/2" stagger in the rear. I couldn't imagine 2" in a new kart.... wow! I bet it would be very loose and pulling hard down the straights!
