D Desert68 Member Apr 24, 2018 #1 Rookie question here. Is there anything I should do regarding oil in the engine when standing a kart up in my garage (to save space)? Will it get past the rings and soak the plug, that sort of thing? It is a Predator engine on a 15 degree mount. TIA

A Atlas Lighting New member Apr 25, 2018 #2 Drain the fuel and start up to run the gas out. I would drain the oil.
GoFast Member Apr 25, 2018 #3 It won't get by the rings, but..... A Briggs flat head had the breather on the back side, and oil will run out there. Where is the breather on the engine you have ? Of course, two-strokes don't have such problems. Once the tank is empty, there is no more oil
