Stateline Speedway "John Limbacher Memorial Race" 10/6/2018 $6,755 payout

Stateline Speedway Edon, Ohio is honored to host the “John Limbacher Memorial Race” on Saturday October 6, 2018. John was a long time supporter of Stateline Speedway and always used his creativity to produce some of the wildest open engines I have ever seen! John flew the #51 on his sprint car so we are honoring him with some special payouts in five classes.

i would consider running this but i am not able to find any info on the "Ohio Predator Series" rules any links or info on the rules?

Ohio Predator Series Rules:
Any Harbor Freight 212cc Predator motor, (non-Hemi or Hemi). Disconnect low oil sensor, you MAY but not required to remove gas tank and replace with top plate, fuel pump, and pulse off of valve cover. You may drill a 1/4" hole in gas cap to vent if utilizing stock gas tank. All other parts must remain stock and in tact. No other alterations or modifications are allowed. You must add a chain/clutch guard. 5500 free rev rpm rule (will be checked on kart stand). $125 claim rule for karts that finished on the lead lap.
2. Drum shoe clutch only, disc clutches prohibited. Chain guard is mandatory.
3. Only 87 octane pump gas is permitted. Any other fuel or additive is prohibited.
4. Pull starter must be present and remain stock.
5. Burris 33 slick tires only. No treaded or siped tires permitted.
6. Minimum age requirement is 13 years old.
7. Claim is for engine only. Motor mount, chain guard, clutch or any bolt on additions are not included in the claim.

(The clutch and rpm rule is track discretion) absolutely no altering of any part on the motor

We do allow 12 and older at Stateline in this class as stated in the original post as the only change to the above rules.

Thanks
Scott

Do you know what would be a good gear combo to start with. Where i race box stock predators at we are bound to a 14 tooth driver and 61-66 sprocket? And is tire prep at the track allowed? Also is there a contact number for further info?

Depending on target RPM your looking for, but a 18/65 ish should give close 5300 with all else right, run higher air than the Sr Clones do.

Can anybody help with a purple plate gear setup? This will be our first race there. Also is their camping Friday night? Thanks

Not what any of us want to here however we are going to cancel the races this weekend due to the three storms predicted by multiple weather forecasts for tomorrow. Will let you know about a new date next week.
