Steering spindle hitting frame

I got a used laser racing chassis from a friend of a friend which I took apart and repainted. Now the steering arm on the left side hits the frame if turned a sharp left. I'm not sure if it did this before disassembly or not. Just wondered if this is a common issue. If needed I'll try to post pics

I doubt you'll be turning that far left... I had a banshee that had rim contact issues long before it had spindle contact issues...And it drove fine. You just may have less "catch it" movement if things go wrong on track. They do make offset spindle arms / spindles to get around that issue and clear the rims too. My guess is it'll be ok. I'd assemble it and run it.

Its assembled. We'll see how it runs tomorrow hopefully. I work near CKI racing so I might just take it over there and ask what?
