Stephens Racing Engines--ever heard of them

I recently bought a Flathead engine from an auction that has Stephens Racing Engines on the side of it. Just curious if anyone has ever heard of them and where they might be from?

Possibly Andretti Stephens he was in north ga. From what i hear his moters were always very strong.
