Stinger Clutch Engagement

Hi all, I've got a brand new stinger clutch with black springs. I mounted it last night and ran the engine to test it out and it seems to be engaging around 2800 instead of the 3300 where it should be engaging. I dismounted it and checked to make sure everything was correct, and it was to my knowledge, and it's still engaging at 2800. Do I need to break it in somehow? Would it be worth trying to mount orange springs (the only others I have) to try and see what it does? I'm just not sure what to do and looking for input. Thanks!

Note: running the black slide

Starting to engage. I'll try it on the driveway tonight

Hold the brake and go to full throttle. See what the "stall speed" is. That is your actual lock up. You can also usually see the actual engagement speed when looking at the tack memory. When you leave the grid and it holds a steady RPM while the kart is accelerating, this is your actual engagement speed.
