Stock appearing motors

Dover produces very good Carbs.
Another good place is E C Birt.
36 lbs springs indicate that you probably have around .310 lift cam? If not, spring pressure may be too high.

I have DYNO DJ 1104 f 275 cam
Great cam! I have ran that cam and it really performs well in a stock appearing engine. It will easily turn over 8,000 rpms. and still keep pulling If you have enough carb and the rest stays together.
Looks like you have a good combination. Now just make sure of all of the little details, you can blueprint your own engine! Make sure the intake flow that all parts match exactly, Carb to intake and intake to head. All holes need to be exactly the same size with no gaskets getting into the air flow. Polish the intake inside. There is a lot of power to either be made or lost in the carb, head. If you get the right combination. It will scream. If you get Dover to port and align the carb, intake, port head you will never regret it.

You guys will like this. 308 cam, billet rod, Honda head with larger valves, 30 lb duel springs, stock clone guide plate pushrods and stock rockers welded on both top edges, tillotson. Finished 2nd in a field of 14 wings and turned it 9100. Tires went away or it would have been ours. Gonna pull it down this week and check for damage
