If I am running a stock harber freight 6.5 motor with 10.8 valve springs in it would it help to put 18.0 springs in it or hurt me

Its going too hurt you . Reduce power and wear the camshaft flat .

Agreed. You’re just making it work harder than it needs to for a stocker.
