Stock tank location and Mikinui

Does the stock location work with gravity feed on VM22?
If not, has anyone just raised the tank height?

You will need an aftermarket fuel tank and fuel pump for best results. I'm not sure the stock tank could even feed enough fuel to the Mikuni carb without a pump

Gravity feed means the tank is higher than the float bowl.as long as that's the case it will work.
The volume the tank and fuel line flow's is the other concern.
As long as the volume used is less than the fuel system flow's it should be good.
That said some people have had issues with stock tank, mostly due to the vent.

I was able to run a 28mm mikuni with the stock tank location without a pump without fuel feed issues.

I ended up raising the tank around 3", basically in the same location.
I wanted to run a proper paper inline filter and a shutoff valve.
