Street bike motor ?

I notice that it doesn’t seem to be common to use street bike engines ie cbr 250r since most gut the trans and port and polish the heads anyway is there other reasons that it isn’t common

Weight and power output .
The two strokes are lighter and more powerful .
The 450 weighs about the same as a 250.
Unless you already have one to use .
That would be a reason too try one .
