What type of gear reduction or starter mechanism are people using to build a starter at home? I search on here for some information... I did get some ideas but could anyone link me to the part they used or would recommend?

Straight to engine. I have a starter that works fine now... Just curious as to what types people are using to make one.

This is Toyota can't remember what model .

The numbers run as a 92-95 Camry.
1992-1995 Toyota Camry DX, LE, SE, XLE|4 Cyl 2.2L, 6 Cyl 3.0L

Also looks like that one was purchased from a "Quality used parts store." Lol, I worked in this industry, and those yellow numbers are common to connect parts back to a car's stock number in the system.

If you dont need gear drive the starter of a 66 galaxy 390 .
its big and would require a seperate battery . .long snout though . direction may be a issue as well .
