Taking One Off The Shelf

SO.. I guess we are going to have some fun here next week, pulling a stocker off the shelf that hasn't been fired in 3 or 4 years, throwing it on an old spare chassis, to turn a few laps with some friends. Before putting it away, it was fully purged, plug pulled and oiled in cylinder and under valves, oil drained, and every couple months turned over easy by hand. It has been basement stored so temperature shouldn't be an issue. This week, engine still free when hand turned over. I added some oil to the cylinder & valves, put fresh oil in, and shook the stuffing out of it, upside down and all around. Hand turned it over a little faster, all without the plug in. Changed the diaphragm and spring in carb.

My plans are to start and warm up, purge, and change oil again before racing.

Is there anything I missed or addition things I should do so it doesn't nuke.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the responses. Once I remember what I did with the starter nut for the crankshaft, I can fire it up and see if there are any leaks..
