What info do people have? Found one forsale with alky carb and stuff. Are they a good motor? Never seen one?

Did they make good power? It was like 700 or 500 I cant remember. I hadnt ever seen them so I didnt know if they are worth a darn or not.

Decent engines. Used to know a guy that ran two freight train style. That was 8-9 years back and they were old news then.

Very few classes . Parts might be hard too find . Techumseh is outa business. Free would be worth it

It'd be nice if it was free but c'mon tony we both know that ain't gonna happen.

It's almost comparable to an animal on methanol.

oh geez...if it is comparable to a animal on methanol then I am not interested a bit. I though it may be a nice piece but doesnt sound like it ecspecially for 700

Unless it's got something crazy going for it like extended deck stroker or punched out big then 700 is too much. Maybe 2-3 hundred. Like Tony said Tecumseh is out so parts are hard to get unless you can find crossovers for parts that might fit.

No direct experience but I seem to remember that they had a reputation of a hand grenade motor.
