For Immediate Release The Dirt Track @ FRP opens under the lights this Saturday June 14th 2014, After 3 weeks of hard work and dedication the lights are up and working facility manger Kit Henry said. "We are excited to bring night racing to the biggest highest banked track in Northwestern Ohio for the go kart racers. This has been an adventure in vision and hard work by the whole FRP team. "
Gates will open at 3:00 pm, and there will be 2 options here
1) A Pit Pass $10.00 lets you have access to the whole facility and get up and close with the teams and drivers
2) A Spectator Pass $4.00 gives you access to the spectator area and small grandstands.
Racing Fees will be $15.00 for the Kids Classes, and $20.00 for all paying classes.
Dave from Bascom, is coming and he will be the food vendor on site
Henry Motorsports Inc. and KRP will be there to handle your parts needs, and Weaver Performance will be in attendance with a shop very close by.
Hot Laps will begin between 5:30 and 6:00 pm, the biggest class to hit the track first to run the track in.
Classes will be roughly the same as Martinsville, including the opens that will run last and we will evaluate the track surface for any issues caused by the weight of these karts.
Tire Rule is OPEN, Treaded tires in the open class only.
Kid Karts are 50cc Comers or the 79 cc predator (FRP Rules Here)
