Tillotson 236

Started putting my tillotson 236 block together with their stroker crank and billet rod. Appears that I'm having clearance issues between the crank counterweight and the compression release rivet on my black mamba cam. Anyone else had this happen? Consider getting the machinist at work to turn some material off the counterweight. It appears they trued it up some after casting/forging. Thinking about taking maybe .050 off and trying it.

That's a thought. I forgot to bring it to work today so I could put it back together tonight and mark just the area it's rubbing. Thanks.

I ran into this problem on the 236 when I built mine, I found that the cams that have the long arm for compression release have interference but the cams that just have a weight that slides straight in and out clear perfectly.
