Im going to buy a JrRacecar Billet Flywheel for my flathead, well i pulled off the stock flywheel that was ran on it from whatever builder it came from, it had a number 7 key. When switching to the Billet flywheel for i put that 7 key in, or do i put a straight key in??

Leave the 7 key in there. That's what sets the timing for your spark based on your cam. Not your flywheel. Don't forget to lap your flywheel to the crank when you install it too. The key is just to set your timing, doesn't hold the flywheel in place. It'll sheer off if you don't.
