Timing

We are running the box stock class that has a 10.8 lb spring rule can run aftermarket pipe, air cleaner, top plate and carb jets. I have both hemi and non Hemi engines where would I need to be degree wise on timing? Any suggestions would be appreciated

Is flywheel key a non tech item in your rule package ? It really depends on what you ate trying to achieve, small bull ring track, long momentum track, have you changed the C/L on the cam timing? All these play a part in timing..

It’s a decent size track where momentum is a big factor but it is small enough we do lift in the corners. Also run some small indoor bull rings what would be the suggestions between the tracks? I figured 30-32 was safe and I know they can be off out of the box but generally speaking they are 24-25 degrees advanced out of the box so just an 8 degree key would get me close???
