Tire brand pressure comparison

If a medium to medium-low bite track will takes a Burris at 7psi what will a Maxxis take to be comparable?
Yellow Vega?
Hoosier A40?

Just trying to compare pressures to size and start with. The goal would be to assume tires with ideal prep for conditions given.

The Maxxis and Hoosier will depend a LOT on what internal you are using.
"Generally" you will be a pound lower on stiff sidewall tires than on Burris -- that said, for most of our low/no bite tracks around us, I'd be lower yet - closer to two pounds lower and less split.
Small tracks start with 5 psi all around - bigger tracks where you care about roll speed, bump them up from there and maybe a little split.
