Tire options

There’s a shortage of Maxxis tires here in South GA so I’d like y’alls thoughts on Vega’s and Cobra’s. My primary track is flat, red clay and sand tends to surface during warm/dry race conditions.

Which tire would meet my needs best?

Is there a certain version of the tires I should buy?

What’s the best way to prep em for dry and wet conditions?

Where is the best place to buy a set/case?

Thank you.

If i couldnt get any Maxxis, or if track was super wet and soft with open tire rule (30 or lower duro), Vega would be my tire. That would be the yellow thin.
South GA so im guessing Nashville. Internal them, but with less internal as with a Maxxis, class and weight dictates the amount of internal. Wet or dry track depends on amount of bite and how wet, could be straight goat if wet to hardly much outside wiping at all with standard prep when dry. Even a dry track with no bite may need goat to be fast. It all comes down to available grip the track has on any given night, or day.
