1. A rear tire is used to accelerate stretching it's grip with the track (and releasing rotationally).
2. Any tire will need lateral or side grip.
3. Any tire will need to grip while being twisted in and into the track.
4. Any tire will need to grip while being pushed into the track.
5. A braking tire will need to grip while being pushed and twisted into the track.
The tools available to make a tire do what we need it to do are(probably not all) air pressure, chemical prepping, grooving, needling, siping, etc.?,
Yes you could probably use every tool to gain grip in any area.
What would be your first, second or many even third go to tool to improve or alter each part of the tire(like, tread, carcus, sidewall, etc.) to fix each one of the tire problems separately?
What will probably be used to address sidewall, contact patch, carcus or tire flexability over all?
... yeah I suspect the answer will be proper, specific, correct use of prep will do all for you ...
But then if that's the case how do you prep for each part of the tire for each specific problem?
