Tire Rotisserie Questions

What temp for the rotisserie? (enclosed rotisserie)

How many cc's of prep injected into the tire through the valve stem?

Can you inside prep the tires mid week, 24 hours before, the day after a race day when you clean up? Basically how long is the inside prep effective and hold duro?

What do you use for heating the rotisserie? (metal box)

Thanks

Inside prep is usually for the life of the tire. One, since most tires that require inside prep don't last long enough to be rerolled, but occasionally Maxxis will be rerolled if they need more inside. But, generally they're a 2-3 race tire and you throw them away.
Vega are the only tires you'll generally reroll. But, there are too many questions to answer all the questions you asked.

If you're initially rolling the tires for the first time, the amount of prep inside is determined by the conditions the tires are going to be run in. Meaning, weather, track conditions, what are they being used for, a JR, RWYB, adult clones. What brand of tire are you rolling. Just a laundry list of questions you've neglected to answer.

As far as how long you can roll before a race, again a laundry list of questions. What kind of prep is it, what are you trying to do with it. What brand of tire. You've got a lot of questions left on the board that you didn't even know you needed to ask.

Up north here on the maxxis they create duro with inside prep. Outside is put on 24hrs in advance of race day.

What temp for the rotisserie is easily answerable. How far in advance of race day to have prep not be effective is easily answerable. What to use to heat the rotisserie is easily answerable.

Confused.....

There is no "one size fits all" answer to your questions.
Different internal preps accomplish different things.
Some need re-rolled, some do not.
Generally you roll tires at room temperature (72*, but increasing temp can help pull prep through the tire quicker if needed - can also help with sizing while internal prepping.)
Generally you want to internal 10-14 days ahead of race day, BUT that's a generalization to be sure. There are times when you want a set of tires that has cured out considerably longer.
24 hours is a safe bet for most preps. That's what I recommend for all of our internal preps -- but I will also caution that if you are going to roll more than 2 ounces in a tire, that you roll a maximum of 2 ounces per 24 hours. That is, if you want a 4 ounce right side tire, you roll 2 ounces for 24 hours, then insert another 2 ounces and roll an additional 24 hours.
If you are unsure of proper roll time, please consult your tire prep contact.

Lol, wow.
He gone.... just wanted the quick and easy, one size fits all, and to be told its ok to roll the night before a race with zero cure time lol. He missed great advise from two of the best tire guys out there. IMHO these are only questions he should be asking his prep guy as they are determined by what he's using and on what tire. just my 2 cents

You're already behind the 8 ball, throw them in a hot box and roll them as long as you can at around 100-150 degree or so. If you only have one set, they go back in the hotbox as soon as you come off the track.

Multiple sets I'd roll one set as soon as you get there and pull them off and use them for everything up to the mains. Preferably with two hot boxes throwing the used set back in to roll while you wait., then leave new set rolling till the mains and use that set in the mains.

I read and continue to read. Carlson has not fed bad info yet. No easy peasy. Just needed a starting point instead of boiling them like the sun.
