Tire Shelf Life

What is the shelf life of treaded hoosier kart tires. If I clean them, saran wrap them, put them in a garbage bag, and store them in a bedroom closet. Will that make them last longer. I don,t need them till next year.

Depends greatly on what preps were used in them if any.... TrackTac makes a conditioner called Tire Tuff that you can put on tires before and during storage that will keep them like new.

yes they should hold up till next year .
my k21's did not start weather checking for around 8 years . that's after repeated use of Atomic Punch .

They should be just fine.
Keep them out of direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes.
