Tire with a pin hole

Is there anything that can be done with a tire with a small pin hole in the side wall? Brand new LR that just seen the track for the first time last night. I would set the air pressure where I needed it and 1 hr later it would be 1/2 lb off.

1/2 psi drop in an hour isn't worth bothering with (in my opinion.)
It may actually help you during the race (acting like a tire pressure bleeder) to maintain the set pressure even as the tire gets warmer.

I've used some rubber (handle coating) in a can type of stuff in the past from the inside of the tire with good success if the hole is small. A small amount of silicone sealant or CA glue (as mentioned above) will work too.

I’ve saved many tires with gasket maker/rtv. Find the hole on the inside, smear a liberal amount on with your finger, let dry, remount
