Toe, and scaling with kids.

I’ve got toe down to about 5 mins if that. But many times like tonight little man is in bed sleeping when I’m done with the kart.

How many of you Kart Dads stick a sandbag or dumbbell in the seat and have found the numbers basically match when they’re in the kart? He really is getting better about sitting there.

But if I didn’t have to scale an check tow, we’d be loaded right now.

Have you considered not setting toe and scaling so much ?
Check your toe every couple of weeks unless you run off track or get bumped.
Scale every couple of weeks unless you get really whacked or the handling changes.

I don’t scale every race. But we’ve always check toe on anything we race all my life.

From 325 weight down i just set my on stand, i have seen no difference with him in or out, just bungee to hold solid, remove slack and set, i have found little difference with toeing a superheavy in or out of kart, but it does change a tad fir heavier drivers
