Toe question for the asphalt and concrete racers.

Could excessive outside shoulder wear on the front tires be caused by excessive toe-in?

Probably not. Toe in either side and you start camber gain to occur. By definition camber gain raises the outside edge of the tire when it begins to turn inward. So the more toe the sooner the outside edge come off the track.
